Sigma Sports is proud to announce the invitation extended to two of its ETC teams to visit some top standing US Universities over a three day period beginning March 28. The trip will include stops at Michigan State, Western Michigan and Bowling Green State universities. This is one of many such initiatives to be put forth in the coming months both at home and in the US to increase the exposure of the Sigma player pool to college coaches.

With the continued strong showing of Sigma squads in local scouting, combine and showcase events, the group's reputation as a top class organization focusing on the development of highly skilled players has attracted the attention of many US Universities for current graduating players but also future prospects within the program. With a balance between NCAA scholarship hopefuls and players seeking more immediate professional opportunities, Sigma has attained an image for assisting highly skilled athletes in attaining their goals.

The trip to the US will be highlighted by 5 matches for the Sigma A1 Squad which is comprised of players born in 1991 and 1990. The opponents will include Division I schools- Michigan State, Western Michigan and Bowling Green State* and Division II schools- University of Wisconsin Parkside and Spring Arbor University. Beyond the action on the field the tour will provide the Sigma players a very important opportunity to get an inside look at three large US Schools. The hosts will share with the players the insights to life at their school both from an athletic and more importantly educational viewpoint.

Accompanying the senior Sigma squad will be the Sigma C1 squad comprised of players born in 1992 and 1993. Beyond the matches organized versus local youth clubs, this group will get an early start to their own "college recruiting" alongside their senior peers.

With the successful showing over the years of this year's graduating class laying the groundwork, the quality groups to follow will ensure a strong future for the Sigma program.
