Chris Nanco and Cyle Larin, both 16, of Brampton, Ont. are in Germany during the month of August for a training stint at several Bundesliga clubs.

Following a successful training period during the Sigma International ID Camps in July the invitation was made for Nanco and Larin to head overseas in August.

"It's another good opportunity for them, I've told them that they must represent not just themselves, but also they have to go there and open doors for your teammates and other players in Sigma," said Smyrniotis.

The teammates on Sigma's B2 squad will train at Hertha Berlin, Wolfsburg and Werder Bremen. Coach Smyrniotis added there was a small chance there could be some more opportunities with other clubs only if time permitted.

Nanco was a member of Canada's Under-17 team that competed in the World Cup earlier this summer in Mexico.

This is not the first foray into Europe for the talented players. Last year Nanco trained at Newcastle and Liverpool in England. Last spring, Nanco and Larin trained at Belgium's Club Brugge.

The Sigma B2 squad has enjoyed a strong season, currently sitting in First place in the Ontario Soccer League under-21 Central Region standings. In tournament play, the B2 squad reached the final of the "Score Showcase" in Greensboro, North Carolina.
