Mid October will mark the official start to SIGMA's ETC Program for the 2008-09 season. The program which is home to select talents from across the greater Toronto area and beyond will see returning players in each age group be complemented with newly accepted talents who were mainly identified through the 2008 SIGMA AJAX Camp.

This year will also see the introduction of the 2001-2000 age groups which will begin technical training indoors in Mississauga. SIGMA will hold talent identification days throughout October and November for the 2001-2000 age groups and also the 1999 and 1998 age groups in order accept new players into the program. Interested parties should submit an Expression of Interest form in order to obtain more information on session dates.

All the remaining age groups will continue to focus on technical training, while this year will see increased match play whether in organized league, friendly or tournament settings. As always a few age groups will hold a training camp overseas in Europe at top clubs while others will go the US for select tournament play. Senior aged groups (1993 and up) will focus on showcasing efforts to US and Canadian collegiate coaches who make the trip to see the groups play.

Those interested in finding out more about the ETC Program and possible trial opportunities should submit an Expression of Interest form.
