In Coach Smyrniotis' Words:
David has been a long time member of the academy and like many of our players born in 1995 has gone through the full cycle of development with SIGMA. He is a mature young man who trains at a maximum each and every training session and brings a positive competitive attitude toward the team and his teammates. He has done a good job for us over the years in the goal on a team that has dominated a great deal over the years. Most importantly he has learned to be an important person on the field when counted upon in 2-3 moments per game and this is what is important when moving to the Unversity game.

I believe David has found a very good fit with Southern Connecticut and coach Tom Lang. The advantage of having his long-time teammate, Christian Samaniego will also be great for his adjustment to his new life. I wish David all the best and look forward to tracking his development and seeing him back over the holidays.

In His Own Words:
"I love Sigma, and happy that I stayed until the end. Honestly, I wouldn't have found this opportunity at Southern Connecticut State University if it wasn't for them. They brought the coaches to me, and really helped me out."
